MEREDITH REESE
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
With more than 12 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, and executive administration, Meredith Reese develops strategic communications that strengthen engagement, build trust and support organizational goals. She combines creative thinking with strong project management and cross-functional collaboration to deliver clear, consistent messaging for employees, leadership and community stakeholders.
Prior to joining Discovery Works Collaborative, Meredith served with the School District of Clayton, where she led internal and external communications, managed districtwide publications and marketing collateral, and oversaw website and social media content. She also planned high-profile events and supported their foundation board and grant program. Earlier in her career, she built a strong foundation in executive administration and project and client communication management — experience that strengthened her organizational leadership and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Meredith is known for her adaptability, attention to detail and collaborative approach. She excels at balancing multiple priorities while developing innovative communication strategies that engage diverse audiences and support organizational success. Her strengths in active listening, strategic planning, informed decision-making, and written and verbal communication allow her to build strong relationships and deliver thoughtful, effective solutions.
Meredith earned a Bachelor of Science in criminology, with honors, from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
After living in several different states, Meredith and her husband, Ed, recently returned to St. Louis. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
